Dakota Malacara   Artistic Director / Owner   Having trained at the AVEDA Institutes in Minneapolis and New York City, Dakota has been a dedicated AVEDA family member since 1991. His passion for color and cutting lead him to begin teaching in 1996. his enthusiasm for his art is contagious which enhances his ability to educate and enlighten. Believing that knowledge is only powerful when shared and having been voted "Best Hairstylist" by the Colorado Springs Independent readers 2006-2008, He strives to expand his skills through education and life experience.
	Christian Malacara Executive Office / Owner  Christian is a 2002 Honor Grad from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, with a double major in English and Political Science. While attending UCCS, he was President and Co-Founder of the English Honor Society and a tutor in the Writing Center, where he assisted in developing the On-line Writing Lab. After graduation, he jumped at the great opportunity to co-own and run a salon. He feels his educational background and previous leadership capacities while in college instilled in him the values, talent and knowledge to run a successful business. In the eight years the salon has been open, he feels such pride in the wonderful team and many awards they have received. In addition to the team awards, Christian was featured in the Heritage Registry of Who's Who in Business, 2008-2009. Christian always enjoys working with a wonderful team and meeting the salon's guests. He looks forward to meeting you.
